A man is trying to book a hotel room. He’s asking some information to the receptionist.

  • Receptionist: Good morning, Sir. Welcome to Singasari Hotel. How can I help you? (Selamat pagi, Pak. Selamat datang di Hotel Singasari. Ada yang bisa saya bantu?)
  • Guest: Good morning. I’d like to book a room for tonight. (Selamat pagi. Saya ingin memesan kamar untuk malam ini.)
  • Receptionist: What kind of room would you like, Sir? (Kamar jenis apa yang Anda inginkan, Pak?)
  • Guest: I’d like a single room, please. (Saya mau single room saja.)
  • Receptionist: Let me check first because I’m afraid that single room is not available since many guests booked single rooms recently. (Biar saya periksa dahulu karena saya takut single room tidak tersedia sebab banyak tamu memesan single room akhir-akhir ini.)

  • Receptionist: Good afternoon. Welcome to Miramar hotel. Can I help you? (Selamat siang. Selamat datang di Hotel Miramar. Ada yang bisa saya bantu?)
  • Guest: Good afternoon. I’d like to book a room. What kind of room do you have? (Selamat siang. Saya ingin memesan kamar. Kamar jenis apa saja yang Anda punya?)
  • Receptionist: Rooms with a sea view are $95, rooms overlooking the garden are $85.  We have only one $95 room available now, but several for next month. (Kamar dengan pemandangan laut seharga $95, kamar dengan pemandangan taman seharga $85. Saat ini kamar seharga $95 yang tersedia hanya 1, tapi beberapa kamar akan tersedia bulan depan.)
  • Guest: It sounds great. Okay, I take it. (Sepertinya bagus. Baik, saya ambil yang itu.)
  • Receptionist: Alright, let me input your data. Your ID card, please. (Baik, biar saya masukkan data Anda. Bisa lihat kartu identitas Anda?)
