Dropping Off at the Airport (Conversation)

Adam is going to fly to Perth tomorrow. Since he doesn’t have a car, he’s asking Bruno, his best friend, for a favor.

percaapan bahasa inggris di airport

  • Adam: Bruno, if you’re free, I was wondering if you could give me a ride to the airport tomorrow morning. (Bruno, kalau kamu longgar, apakah bisa mengantarku ke bandara besok pagi.)
  • Bruno: Sure, I'll give you a ride. What time do you need to get there? (Tentu, aku akan mengantarmu. Jam berapa kamu harus ada di sana?)
  • Adam: For an international flight, the airline asks us to check in two hours in advance, so I need to leave my house at 7:00 a.m. (Untuk penerbangan internasional, pihak maskapai meminta kita untuk check-in dua jam sebelumnya, jadi aku harus berangkat dari rumah jam 7 pagi.)
  • Bruno: Do you have a lot of luggage to check in? (Apa kamu bawa banyak barang waktu check-in?)

  • Adam: No. I am only carrying one large bag and a carry-on. That’s all. (Nggak. Aku cuma bawa satu tas besar dan satu tas jinjing. Itu saja.)
  • Bruno: Okay, I'll bring my smaller car then. Do you know where you need to get dropped off? (Oke, aku bawa mobilku yang kecil saja kalau begitu. Apa kamu tahu mau diturunkan dimana?)
  • Adam: Yes, I am flying out on Singapore Air to Perth, so I need to be at the International Terminal. (Ya. Aku terbang dengan Singapore Air ke Perth, jadi aku harus ke Terminal Internasional.)
  • Bruno: Do you want me to go in with you at the airport to help you bring the luggage and pass the time before you leave? (Apa kamu ingin aku ikut masuk ke airport sekalian bantu membawa tas mu dan ngobrol-ngobrol dulu sebelum kamu berangkat?)
  • Adam: Actually, I would like that. But with airport regulations being so strict, I guess you should probably just drop me off at the curb. (Sebenarnya aku pengennya begitu. Tapi peraturan bandara sangat ketat, jadi aku rasa kamu turunkan aku di pinggir jalan saja.)
  • Bruno: No problem. Just give me a call if anything changes. (Tidak masalah. Telpon saja kalau ada perubahan.)
  • Adam: Thank you very much, Bruno. (Terima kasih banyak, Bruno.)
