Asking & Telling The Time 2 (Conversation)

One day at a campus..

belajar bahasa inggris telling the time

  • Luna: Hi, Sachi. Do you know what time Mr. Ali will be in the office? (Hai, Sachi. Apakah kamu tahu jam berapa Pak Ali datang ke kantor?)
  • Sachi: Mr. Ali? He usually comes at 10.00 o’clock on Monday, but I don’t know about his schedule today. Did you make an appointment before? (Pak Ali? Apakah kamu membuat janji sebelumnya?)
  • Luna: I texted him 3 days ago but he didn’t reply yet. I’m afraid I don't have enough time to revise my work.

  • Sachi: Yeah, you’re right.  The time for revision is limited, meanwhile our lecturers are so busy with their own businesses. (Iya, kamu benar.
  • Luna: I think so. Anyway, what are you doing here, Sachi? (Setuju.
  • Sachi: I am waiting for Mrs. Lala. She said she would be here in 10 minutes. (Aku sedang menunggu Bu Lala. Katanya beliau akan tiba dalam 10 menit.)
  • Luna: Mrs. Lala is always on time. (Bu Lala selalu tepat waktu.)
  • Sachi: Yes. Lucky me. (Iya. Betapa beruntungnya aku.)
  • Luna: Okay then, I will go to the canteen first, Sachi.
  • Sachi: What time will you return here? (Jam berapa kamu akan kembali kesini?)
  • Luna: I'll be here at 10.05 sharp (Aku akan di sini lagi pukul 10.05 tepat.)
  • Sachi: Okay, see you. (Oke, sampai jumpa.)
  • Luna: See you. (Sampai jumpa.)
